Built in 1986, Persistence was originally 117 feet LOA. In 1995 she had a mid-body addition
of 24 feet, making her current size 141 feet LOA. Since the addition, her daily freezing capacity has increased from 30 metric tons to 50 metric tons. Along with increased freezing capabilities, Persistence has doubled her holding capacity from 150 metric tons to 300 metric tons.
