In 2005, we finished the second addition to our state of the art cold storage facility (fully racked) and increased our cold storage capacity to about 23 million pounds. In our business, we must accumulate large quantities of our sea frozen fish and squid to ensure deliveries to customers around the world 12 months per year.

The addition has also enabled Seafreeze, Ltd. to operate as a public cold storage. We are located on a deep water port in Davisville, Rhode Island on the U.S. East Coast. We can load and unload reefer vessels (trampers), refrigerated containers, refrigerated railcars and trucks. Our newest addition can berth up to 3 High capacity railcars just a few feet away from our cold storage. We can quickly load and unload railcars with virtually no exposure to the elements.

We are currently loading between 40-90 high capacity refrigerated rail cars each year bound for the U.S. West Coast. We expect we can attract some West Coast and East Coast customers to take advantage of our facilities and competitive pricing.

Our facility is located just 130 miles north of New York City and 70 miles south of Boston, Massachusetts. Interstate 95 is just minutes from our facility.
